Enjoy this infographic that I created about my recently published work on technoference -- the everyday interruptions that we experience in our relationships due to technology devices.
My colleague, Sarah Coyne, and I found that those experiencing more frequent interruptions due to tech devices (such as smartphones and tablets) also seemed to be those who were experiencing more conflict with their partners over tech use and decreased relationship satisfaction.
It is not just products that are being marketed but values. What are these values?
Sayings, stuff, or brands will make us happy! Gotta have it! Self-indulgence, self-gratification, consumerism. It’s all about ME NOW!
